Temple center Micheal Eric made his first game appearance Saturday against Maryland after missing the past 13 games with a right kneecap injury.

The 6-foot-11 center replaced Temple freshman Anthony Lee with 12 minutes, 29 seconds left in the first half. The Owls student section chanted 'Micheal Eric! Micheal Eric!' after he entered the game.  He played a 2:28 stretch before Lee re-entered the game.

Eric averaged 10.5 points and 11.3 rebounds before the injury.
