Agent: Greg Roman finalist for Penn State job

The agent for San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman told the Associated Press on Monday that his client is a finalist for Penn State's head coaching job.

Roman, who was on Jim Harbaugh's staff at Stanford in 2009 and 2010, interviewed for the position in November, according to agent Mike Harrison.

"We should know in a week or so, that's our best guess," Harrison told the AP. "He interviewed quite a while ago."
