Villanova football gets two more commitments, including Oakcrest defensive back Clements

Oakcrest defensive back Mark Clements and William Floyd (N.Y.) running back Stacey Bedell gave oral commitments Friday to play football at Villanova.

Both players will be seniors in the fall. With these commitments, the Wildcats have five recruits for the Class of 2012.

Clements, a 5-foot-10, 175-pounder, had seven interceptions and 34.5 tackles this past season.

He also had 10 receptions for 108 yards and two touchdowns as a wideout.

Bedell, a 5-9, 175-pounder, carried the ball 208 times for 1,658 yards and 18 scores.

He also had 12 catches for 177 yards and two touchdowns.
