President Obama should have taken a stronger approach to the potential threat of ISIS to the United States.
Stronger is not necessarily effective. Effectiveness requires information and deliberation. I welcome the president's "sitting" with reliable sources' information and thinking through the best action.

He's damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't. Give the man a break! He'll take care of biz when he sees fit!

We're not the arbiters of the world. Bravo to Obama for encouraging a coalition of countries to respond. We shouldn't have to do it alone!

As admirable as generosity can be, especially for a rich, public figure, parsimony by one is both unbecoming and revealing.
|John F. Evans Jr., Sea Isle City
I believe the president is taking a reasoned, sensible approach. No neocon rush to war this time.
|Stephen Smith, Burlington
Thirteen years of "war on terror" resulted in more terror groups with more members. Obama continues to pursue a failed policy.
