Letters: Headmaster's discipline hardly a crime

Haverford School headmaster John A. Nagl is a hero ("Headmaster battles his suspension," Oct. 14). The school should be ashamed for placing him on leave after he was charged with assaulting his teenage son.

I am 69. I grew up in a time where your father's words were the law. If you were stupid enough to disobey or talk back, you were going to get your butt kicked. Now, these spoiled brats call the police. They should have locked up the punk for drug possession.
