Letters: Don't do that
ISSUE | INQUIRER Don't do that As a long time print subscriber to the Inquirer, I've agreed with some of the format changes, but I'm scratching my head over the renaming of the Weekend section published on Fridays. The old title - Weekend - told readers exactly what it was. The new title - Do This - certainly doesn't.

Don't do that
As a long time print subscriber to the Inquirer, I've agreed with some of the format changes, but I'm scratching my head over the renaming of the Weekend section published on Fridays. The old title - Weekend - told readers exactly what it was. The new title - Do This - certainly doesn't.
It's too assertive. It's saying, "You must do this," rather than, "Things you may want to know about to do."
I guess it's too much to hope for, but please consider returning this useful section to its former name.

Newsstand price a deal breaker
There are very few purchases that I make that would survive a 50 percent increase in cost ("To our readers," Sunday). Sorry, but the Inquirer, which has raised its single-copy daily price to $1.50, is not one of those.
