Letters: A special thanks to our protectors in uniform

As we celebrate and enjoy our Thanksgiving season, may we take a moment of silence to thank all those who can't be with their loved ones, those who are serving to protect our freedom and our liberty - those who wear the uniform of our military.

[May we] thank all those who serve and protect us in this great country we live in, who put their life at risk when called upon, who wear the badge of our law enforcement and the uniform of our firefighters.
