Letters | Iraqis packin' heat

ICAN't understand why everyone in Iraq has a weapon. In news footage, everyone is either carrying or firing one in the air. It appears that the only person without a firearm is the guy with the camera!

The first step in Iraq is to disarm everyone except the U.S. military. Let the generals decide which Iraqis can carry guns, then arrest anybody else who has one. There will never be any success if the only one without a gun is the photographer!
