Sam Sarpong, actor and model, 40

Sam Sarpong, 40 a London-born model and TV actor, died Monday, Oct. 26, in Pasadena, Calif., after jumping to his death from a bridge.

Police say he jumped from the Colorado Street Bridge after seven hours of attempts to talk him down.

Mr. Sarpong had a series of small roles in movies and TV shows, including Bones and Boston Public, and cohosted MTV's 2006 show Yo Momma.

He modeled for Tommy Hilfiger and other fashion brands.

Survivors include a sister, June Sarpong, an English TV presenter. - AP
