Workers uncover human remains in North Philly

A construction crew uncovered partial human remains at a work site Tuesday afternoon in the city's Tioga section, police said.

About 3:25 p.m., workers doing demolition in the 1700 block of West Atlantic Street discovered the remains while digging at the site, police said.

Detectives and the Medical Examiner's Office were investigating, police said.
