A flood advisory remains in effect until 6:30 p.m. for parts of Bucks, Chester, and Montgomery Counties, the aftermath of a round of random showers that continue to pop up around the region.

A 45 mph thunderstorm gust was measured at Philadelphia International Airport, and hailstone reports were common throughout the region, according to the National Weather Service.

They included ones of hail around an inch in diameter in Rockledge and King of Prussia, Montgomery County, and Chesterbrook, Chester County, according to the National Weather Service.

Some flooding also was reported along City Line Avenue near the Schuylkill Expressway, on I-95 by the Broad Street exit, and across the river in Moorestown.

Outages were widely scattered, with PECO reporting just under 2,000 customers without power as of 5 p.m.

The conditions that have set off the storms should ease in the next few hours from the city north and west, the weather service says, although they will remain a threat across the Delmarva and in southeastern New Jersey.
