Among the tidbits shared by Cindy Wooden, the Rome bureau chief for the Catholic News Service, on her on Twitter account (@Cindy_Wooden) were:

- The pope will give 26 speeches in Cuba and the United States, four of them completely in English.

- Francis and Fidel Castro likely will meet while the pope is in Cuba, but nothing has been scheduled yet.

- The pope will travel by helicopter to Philadelphia's Curran-Fromhold jail for his visit with inmates and their families on the morning of Sunday, Sept. 27.

- Vice President Biden will see the pope off when he leaves Philadelphia for Rome the night of Sept. 27.

- As previously reported, the popemobile during the U.S. leg of the tour will use a modified Jeep Wrangler, not the Hyundai he debuted in Rome earlier this summer.
