With Tuesday's Pennsylvania primary hours away, some would-be presidents are heading to the Philadelphia area, striving for support and snarling traffic.

Their public events:

Republican Donald Trump has a rally at West Chester University's Hollinger Field House that starts at 4 p.m. Monday.

His rival John Kasich is due at 10 a.m. Monday at the Penrose Diner in South Philadelphia.

Democrats Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will both hold events in Philadelphia and answer questions during MSNBC-hosted town halls at the National Constitution Center.

Chris Hayes will moderate a town hall with Sanders at 8 p.m. A rally for Sanders also starts at 8 p.m. at Drexel University's Daskalakis Athletic Center, 33rd and Market Streets; doors open at 6.

Clinton's town hall, moderated by Rachel Maddow, follows Sanders' at the NCC at 9 p.m. She has a get-out-the-vote rally in Philadelphia City Hall courtyard at 7:30 p.m.; doors open 5:30.

People who want to attend the events are encouraged to contact the respective campaigns.

Voters in Pennsylvania and four other Northeast states head to the polls Tuesday. The states usually hold their primaries too late in the election cycle to matter, but are important this year as nomination battles drag on in both parties.
