The surge in support for gay marriage in the Keystone State comes right after 2010 Census data showed that the antique-laden riverfront borough in upper Bucks County is among the nation's Top 10 towns for same-sex couples - the first time a Pennsylvania community has made that list.
Nearly 5.9 percent of New Hope households reported including a same-sex couple, the Census reported, the eighth highest in the nation. No. 1 is Provincetown, Mass., on the tip of Cape Cod.
