Applications for Montco community service are being accepted

KING OF PRUSSIA The Upper Merion Township Board of Community Assistance is accepting applications seeking charitable aid. The township receives the money from the Valley Forge Casino Resort, and disburses it to organizations and individuals with a community need. Applicants must provide information on planned projects and how the money would be spent.

The township receives the money from the Valley Forge Casino Resort, and disburses it to organizations and individuals with a community need. Applicants must provide information on planned projects and how the money would be spent.

Scholarship applications for students who have demonstrated a commitment through public service are also being accepted. The deadline for all applications is March 15.

During the summer, the Board of Community Assistance received 95 applications and awarded a total of $150,000 to 26 community organizations and five sports organizations, and awarded 28 scholarships.
