Chesco man killed in Delco crash

A 42-year-old Malvern, Chester County, man was killed Monday night in a one-vehicle accident in Newtown Township, Delaware County.

Witnesses reported that the vehicle, a 2002 Cadillac Escalade, had been traveling at high speed right before the accident, which occurred about 8:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Goshen Road and Echo Lane, according to Newtown Township Police Officer Joseph Vandergrift.

Vandergrift said the Escalade rolled over several times and the victim, whose name was not released, was ejected from a window. His body was taken to the medical examiner's office. An investigation was continuing.
