Woman is found slain inside N.E. Phila. home

A woman in her 40s was found slain inside a home in the Somerton section of Northeast Philadelphia yesterday, police said.

Police discovered the body around 11 a.m. in the 10800 block of Gifford Street. A cause of death was not immediately disclosed.

The woman's husband was questioned, police said. There was no further information available on whether he was arrested. - Robert Moran
