S.J. police seek Haddon Twp. bank robber

South Jersey police are asking for help in identifying a bank robber who struck this afternoon at a Haddon Township bank branch.

The bandit entered the Santander Bank on the 300 of Haddon Ave. about 2:40 p.m. and handed a demand note to a teller. The note indicated he had a weapon, though none was shown. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled on foot down Haddon Ave., police said.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and dark sneakers. Anyone with information is asked to call Det.Vince McCalla of the Camden County Prosecutor's office  at (856) 225-8684 or Det.
