Police probe Gloucester Township woman's suspicious death

A Gloucester Township woman was found dead in her home Tuesday afternoon under what investigators believe to be suspicious circumstances.

Another resident of the home on the 100 block of Austin Avenue discovered the body of 21-year-old Rebecca Ugarte around 1 p.m., officials said.

The cause and manner of Ugarte's death had not yet been determined Tuesday night, but investigators said the Homicide Unit of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office would be leading the investigation. Prosecutors said detectives remained on the scene and that more information would be provided as it became available.
