A student is in hot water after a message allegedly sent from his Twitter account prompted the lockdown of Gloucester City High School Tuesday.

Jason Zold, 18, of Brooklawn, is charged with terroristic threats, according to investigators.

Authorities became aware of the "inappropriate tweet" around 11:30 a.m., according to a news release issued by the Gloucester City Police Department.

Though the exact nature of the tweet wasn't immediately disclosed, a Twitter account purporting to belong to Zold dispatched the message, "This school is about to blow up cuz [sic] of these Saturdays," around 10:30 a.m.

The school was evacuated Tuesday afternoon, and bomb-sniffing dogs were brought in to sweep the building as a precaution. Students were allowed to return to class after the school was deemed safe, police said.
