Police: N.J. man shot arrows at fellow homeless campers

A South Jersey man is accused of using a bow and arrow to shoot at fellow occupants of a Vineland homeless encampment.

A South Jersey man is accused of using a bow and arrow to shoot at fellow occupants of a Vineland homeless encampment.

David Miceli, 46, was arrested Wednesday in a wooded area behind a shopping center on Landis Avenue.

Police said Miceli shot arrows in the direction of at least three people and threatened to kill them. Miceli and the victims are all homeless and stay in camps set up behind a nearby Walmart store, according to investigators.

No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

Miceli is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and weapons offenses. He remained imprisoned Saturday at the Cumberland County Jail in lieu of 10 percent of $50,000 bail.
