Penn Wood High classes resume Wednesday

LANSDOWNE Classes for Penn Wood High School in Lansdowne are expected to resume Wednesday, not Tuesday, school board member Charlotte Hummel said Sunday. On Friday, officials had decided high school classes would resume Tuesday at the Cypress Street campus, which the district's freshmen and sophomores attend; the upperclassmen's Green Avenue campus is closed for the rest of the school year because of the fire. Until the end of the school year, there will be split sessions at Cypress Street - juniors and seniors in the mornings and underclassmen in the afternoons. - Rita Giordano
