Bridgeton man guilty in 2014 homicide

A Cumberland County jury found a Bridgeton man guilty of conspiracy to commit murder Thursday for fatally shooting another man in a city apartment complex, the county prosecutor's office said Friday.

Troy Donini shot Jermarl Dawkins at the Burlington Manor Apartment Complex, located at 90 S. Burlington Road, on Jan. 16, 2014, authorities said. Officers found Dawkins in the courtyard with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

Donini faces up to 20 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for April 29.
