Deaths ruled murder-suicide

A Gloucester County woman on Saturday was killed by her husband, who then fatally shot himself, the county prosecutor announced Monday.

Carol Leguern, 72, and Richard Leguern, 67, were found shot to death in their home at a 55-and-older community in the 200 block of Idlewood Way in Deptford Township. Her death was ruled a homicide, his a suicide.

Authorities said the gun used was unregistered. The prosecutor's office said no conclusion was reached on a motive for the shootings.
