Four people suffered minor injuries in a school bus accident Tuesday afternoon in Gloucester County, an emergency dispatcher said.

A vehicle struck the bus shortly after 4 p.m. at Grove and Hessian Avenues in National Park, the dispatcher said.

Four people, including the driver of the striking vehicle, were taken by ambulances to Underwood-Memorial Hospital in Woodbury.

Seven others on the bus were transferred onto another bus and taken to the hospital for precautionary evaluations, the dispatcher said.

It was not immediately known how many of the people taken to the hospital were children.

The cause of the accident was under investigation late Tuesday.

A Feb. 16 crash involving a school bus and a Mack truck in Burlington County killed sixth grader Isabelle Tezsla, 11, a triplet, and badly injured three other children, including Isabelle's two sisters. The girls' father, Anthony, is a sergeant with the New Jersey State Police. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating that accident. A determination of what caused the crash could take a year or more.
