Woman charged with setting friend's face on fire

Police arrested a South Philadelphia woman on Sunday who they believe set another woman's face on fire last week. Doreen Cuffie, 45, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, arson, and related offenses. On Friday morning, police said, Cuffie got into an argument with her 39-year-old friend in Cuffie's apartment in the 800 block of South 16th Street. Cuffie threw a flammable liquid into the other woman's face, then ignited the liquid.
