Burlco teacher's aide guilty of sex with teen

A Burlington County teacher's aide was found guilty yesterday of having sex with a 16-year-old student.

Donna Goebel, 45, of Westampton, faces five to 10 years in state prison after a jury convicted her of sexually assaulting the boy, who attended the Burlington County Special Services School.

The assault was reported in January 2008 when Goebel's husband phoned police and said he had found evidence - reportedly, sexually explicit photos - that led him to suspect his wife was having "inappropriate relations" with a student.
