Man fatally shot in East Germantown

A man in his 30s was found shot to death in a rear alley in East Germantown on Saturday morning. Police said the victim, whose name was not released, had been wounded once in the head. His body was discovered by a passerby on the 300 block of East Queen Lane just before 8 a.m.
No weapon was found at the scene, and investigators did not have any information about a possible suspect. Tipsters can contact the Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334 or -3335.
