Man, 24, killed in Fairhill shooting

A 24-year-old man was fatally shot Wednesday night in the city's Fairhill section, police said.
The victim was outdoors in the 2500 block of North Second Street when he was shot several times in the torso just before 7:40 p.m., police said. He was taken by private vehicle to the Episcopal Campus of Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:55 p.m.
Police reported no arrests or motive.
