Burlco ticket wins $193K jackpot

A ticket sold at a Burlington County grocery store hit the jackpot in Friday's Jersey Cash 5 drawing. The ticket was the only one to match all five numbers drawn - 12, 20, 24, 30 and 34 - to win the $193,374 top prize.

The lucky ticket was sold at the ShopRite located at 1520 Route 38 East in Hainesport, the New Jersey Lottery said.

The store will get a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot winner.

In other recent lottery news:

- A Camden County ticket won $25,000 in Friday's Mega Millions drawing. The prizewinner matched four of the five white balls (3, 14, 15, 25 and 48), as well as the Mega Ball of 8. It was purchased at Burnt Mill News, located at 213 S. Burnt Mill Road in Voorhees.

Such tickets are usually worth just $5,000, but the Voorhees winner was bought with the Megaplier option, boosting its value to $25,000.

- No one, however, won the top prize of $194 million in Friday's Mega Millions, so the jackpot for Tuesday's drawing rolls over to $214 million for the annuity, or $130 million cash.

- Powerball's jackpot is also on the rise after no one matched all five white balls (9, 15, 17, 31 and 43) and the Power Ball of 16 on Saturday to win the $138 million top prize. The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday's drawing now stands at $154 million for the annuity, or $96.4 million cash.

- A ticket sold in Scranton won more than $1 million in a Pennsylvania Cash 5 drawing. The winning ticket, sold at Stange's Quick Serve at 3014 Birney Ave., matched the five balls drawn Friday: 12, 31, 32, 33 and 37.

The ticket is worth $1,004,965 and the retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus.
