Woman, 55, fatally stabbed in Paulsboro
Police were called to the unit block of Capital Street in Paulsboro responding to a report of an unconscious woman and found the body of Alesia Burns.
A 55-year-old woman was stabbed to death inside her Gloucester County home Thursday, authorities said.
Police called to the unit block of Capital Street in Paulsboro about 5:40 a.m. for a report of an unconscious woman found the body of Alesia Burns. An autopsy conducted at Inspira Hospital in Woodbury concluded that she died of multiple stab wounds and ruled the death a homicide, authorities said.
There were three children and one other adult in the residence when 911 was called by the adult.
