TD Bank will hold fund-raiser to help man with ALS
WEST DEPTFORD A local TD Bank will hold a fund-raiser Friday to assist a Gloucester County man with ALS. The bank will match up to $2,000 of the change visitors process through its "Penny Arcade" coin-counting machine to Jason Shipman, 34, of Sewell, a father of two whose mobility and speech have been affected by the disease. Those who bring coins to the machine also can donate to the Shipmans to help offset expenses for equipment and living.

The event, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1101 Mantua Pike, is one of 500 "Green Friday" philanthropic fund-raisers TD branches throughout the country are hosting through February 2016. - Angelo Fichera
