Montco man killed in overnight crash

A Montgomery County man died early Thursday morning after he lost control of his car and hit a tree, police reported.

Shane Warfel, 27, of Royersford, was driving south on S. Lewis Road between Canci Court and Borough Line Road at about 1:37 a.m. when his car left the road.

Warfel, who was the only person in the car, died at the scene, according to police.
