EXTON The Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry announced that its Women Influencing Business Committee will watch Sheryl Sandberg's 15-minute TED Talk - "Why We Have Too Few Women Leaders" - from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chester County Economic Development Council, 737 Constitution Dr., Exton.
Afterward, Kim Brumbaugh of the chamber will moderate a conversation with the audience on how to apply Sandberg's views to a professional career.
Sandberg, chief operating officer of Facebook, speaks on why a smaller percentage of women than men reach the top of their professions, and she offers three pieces of advice.
TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, and Design, and a nonprofit runs a series of conferences that focuses on scientific, cultural, and academic issues at which speakers address such topics.
