GLENSIDE Arcadia University is holding the third of three Ebola fund-raising drives, this one from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday on the campus.
The organizers are collecting medical and other supplies and money to send to Sierra Leone. A graduate of the university, Fodeba Daboh, is a Sierra Leonean native and the executive director of the Help to Engage and Lead (HEAL) Initiative Sierra Leone. He is scheduled to travel to Sierra Leone to work with the Freetown minister of health to distribute the supplies and funds that are collected.
The university's Community Service Office also plans to hold community car washes on Sunday to help raise funds for the effort. The college is at 450 S. Easton Rd., Glenside.
