Phila. Triathlon Traffic Restrictions

All of Kelly Drive will be closed from 5 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday because of the Philadelphia Triathlon, and there will be numerous other traffic restrictions in the area until about 2 p.m.

All of Kelly Drive will be closed from 5 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday because of the Philadelphia Triathlon, and there will be numerous other traffic restrictions in the area until about 2 p.m.

Vehicles, including bicycles, will not be allowed to enter Fairmount Park from Dauphin Drive, and access to Diamond Drive will be allowed only up to Reservoir Drive, as well as Oxford Drive as far as Smith Playground.

Sedgley, Brewery Hill, and Poplar Drives will be closed at intersections with Girard Avenue.

There will be no access to the park from Hunting Park Avenue, Roosevelt Expressway, or Midvale Avenue.

All roads are expected to reopen about 11:30 a.m., except Martin Luther King Drive. It will be closed from 4 a.m. until 5 p.m.

There will be no private-vehicle access to the Philadelphia Museum of Art; however, SEPTA, Philly Flash, tour buses, and taxi drop-offs are permitted. EndText
