Frankford workplace accident kills contractor

A 52-year-old contractor fell through a roof in the East Frankford section of Philadelphia yesterday morning while working and died, police said yesterday.

Police declined to release the identity of the man or his hometown. The accident occurred about 10:30 a.m. on the 4500 block of Worth Street, police said. - Susan Snyder
