Weekend transit planner: SEPTA shuttle buses, limited overnight PATCO service

If you're planning to travel on SEPTA or PATCO this weekend, here are a few service disruptions to keep in mind:

SEPTA will be running shuttle buses in place of Market-Frankford Line trains between 11th Street and 30th Street all day Saturday and Sunday.

Tonight, the Market-Frankford Line will be single-tracking between the 15th Street and 8th Street stations after 10 p.m. All trains will arrive at and depart from the westbound platforms.

SEPTA said the changes are due to the Center City District Dilworth Plaza Station improvement project.

On PATCO, there will be limited service overnight service in the early hours of Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The transit agency said it will run just one eastbound train and one westbound train each hour between midnight and 5 a.m.

Trains will run every half hour after 7 p.m. tonight, Saturday and Sunday.

The PATCO disruptions are due to a pole-replacement project.
