Probe continues in mishap that killed Bucks teen

The investigation into the fatal accident that killed a Bucks County 16-year-old near a stopped school bus is continuing, and no decision has yet been made on whether any charges will be filed in the incident, police said Thursday.

Minete Zeka, a sophomore at Bensalem High School, was struck and killed early Wednesday by an SUV driven by an 18-year-old driver who failed to stop for a school bus even though its stop arm was deployed and its lights were flashing, officials said.

The incident occurred in predawn darkness about 6:30 a.m. as the victim was crossing Bensalem Boulevard in Bensalem Township.

Police have working with the county district attorney's office, a police official said.

The name of the driver has not been released.
