Police: Man fatally shot during argument in Kensington

A 26-year-old man was shot and killed Monday morning during an argument in the Kensington section of the city, Philadelphia police said.

A 26-year-old man was shot and killed Monday morning during an argument in the Kensington section of the city, Philadelphia police said.

The victim, whom police did not identify, was shot multiple times in the head and back shortly after 7:30 a.m. inside a home on the 2900 block of Rutledge Street, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:50 a.m.

Officers recovered a weapon and arrested the alleged shooter, but a police spokeswoman declined to identify him or his relationship to the victim, citing the ongoing investigation.
