Woman, 29, shot 5 times in Germantown

A 29-year woman was hospitalized after being shot five times Monday afternoon in the city's Germantown section.

Philadelphia police said the shooting occurred about 3:30 p.m. outside in the 5300 block of Wayne Avenue. The woman suffered gunshot wounds to her groin, both hips and both legs. She was taken by private vehicle to Einstein Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition.

Police reported no arrests or motive.
