Authorities on Thursday apprehended an 18-year-old man in Chester wanted for a fatal shooting in June.

Devonte Perkins, of Chester, was taken into custody without incident about 11:15 a.m. in the Sun Village section of the city. Perkins was arraigned Thursday night on charges of third-degree murder and possession of an instrument of crime, and was being held without bail.

Perkins was wanted in the fatal shooting of 34-year-old Blane Jones Jr. on June 27 in Chester. Jones died the next day.
