2 dead in Kensington shooting

Two men were fatally shot Wednesday night in the city's Kensington section, police said.

Gunfire erupted shortly before 8 p.m. in the 3300 block of H Street. A 22-year-old man was shot numerous times and was pronounced dead at the scene by medics at 8 p.m. A 37-year-old man also was shot numerous times and was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:17 p.m. Their names were not released.

Police reported no arrests or motive, and no other details were available.
