Window washer hospitalized after falling from Rittenhouse building


A window washer was hospitalized after falling from a building near Rittenhouse Square.

The man fell five stories, landing on a second-floor roof, from the apartment complex located at 201 S. 18th St., the Philadelphia fire department said.

The 2 p.m. incident happened at the Rittenhouse Claridge Apartments, a 26-story complex.

The man taken to Hahnemann University Hospital. His condition wasn't known.

The fall remains under investigation.
