Teenager critically wounded in W. Philly triple shooting

Three teenagers were wounded in gunfire that erupted in West Philadelphia Monday evening, police said.

One of the young men, an 18-year-old was struck in the back and is in critical condition at the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania. A 17-yea-old and another 18-year-old were each struck in the right foot by bullet, police said.

The triple shooting occurred at about 7:45 p.m. on the 1900 block of North 61st Street, just south of Lancaster Avenue and the Overbrook section.

The identities of the three teens were not immediately released.
