Police are looking for a child reported missing from Las Vegas and believed to have been recently kept at a North Philadelphia home.

The Las Vegas Police Department reported 2-year-old Pele Watkins III missing June 30, Philadelphia police said in a news release.

Child welfare workers learned the child was at a home on the 2200 block of West Huntingdon Street with his father, 38-year-old Pele Watkins, who does not have custody, according to investigators.

Department of Human Services personnel went to the home Wednesday to find both the child and his father were no longer there, police said.

The states of Nevada and Pennsylvania currently have emergency custody of the boy, according to investigators.

He is described as a three-foot tall male weighing about 30 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Police have also released the description of a vehicle in which the two may be traveling: a silver 2003 Mercedes SL500 with Nevada tags and vanity plate that reads "PEMP."

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Central Detective Division at 215-686-3093.
