Missing Bucks woman murdered, left in N.J. woods

A body found in Burlington County, N.J., woods last summer was identified today by authorities as a young woman from Bucks County missing almost a year.

Molly Lynch, 22, of the Levittown section in Falls Township, was reported missing by family last April. The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office did not say how she died, but that her death has been ruled "homicide by unspecified means."

In announcing that they found Lynch, the prosecutor's office asked for the public's help in helping solve her murder.

"It was information from the public that led to the determination of the identity in this case," the prosecutor's office said in a statement. "We are now asking the public for any information that may lead investigators to determine how she died."

Lynch's body was found off Quail Run Trail in Pemberton Township, N.J. by two people riding all terrain vehicles on June 17.

The investigation is being conducted by the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office, the Pemberton Township Police Department and the Falls Township, Pa. Police Department, with the assistance of the New Jersey State Police.
