FBI search for woman bank bandit

A woman wearing a hoodie and sunglasses robbed a Center City bank branch on Saturday and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, an FBI spokesman said.

Shortly before 4 p.m., the woman entered the TD Bank branch at 1900 Market Street and handed a teller a demand note. Surveillance cameras captured images of the bandit who was wearing a zipped-up hooded grey sweatshirt, black track pants with a grey stripe down the side of each leg, black gloves and brown Ugg-style boots.

Police are searching for a black female in her early to mid-20s, about 5-foot-5, with an average build. She is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000.
