Search suspended for missing teen in Delaware River
He reportedly went swimming with three other teens, but only they made it out.
Emergency crews Saturday night suspended their search for a teenager believed missing in the Delaware River near Philadelphia's Torresdale section.
Police spokesman Troy Brown said the Marine Unit will resume the search Sunday morning, weather permitting. Philadelphia Police Northeast Detectives were also part of the search.
A Fire Department dispatcher said a call came in at about 10:40 p.m. Friday for a person in the water near Delaware and Linden Avenues.
The missing 16-year-old boy, identified by Northeast Detectives as Antoine Fox, a resident of Philadelphia, reportedly went swimming with three older teenage boys, but only the older boys returned, police said.
