Rain forces rescheduling of Trump rally at Independence Mall

The All American Rally for Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump at Independence Mall, originally scheduled for Oct. 8 at 1:30 p.m., has been postponed twice because of inclement weather: first to Sunday at 1:30 p.m., and then again to sometime next week.

The All American Rally for Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump at Independence Mall, originally scheduled for Oct. 8 at 1:30 p.m., has been postponed twice because of inclement weather: first to Sunday at 1:30 p.m., and then again to sometime next week.

Arvind Kumar, a spokesperson for the event, said the rally's staff decided to postpone the event again today because of heavy rainfall at about 10 a.m.

He added the postponement had nothing to do with controversial 2005 footage released this weekend in which Trump is heard making vulgar comments about women with former Access Hollywood host Billy Bush.

The event staff hasn't yet nailed down the rescheduled date of the rally.
